Homebound Adult Services

Helping Older Adults Remain Independent, Connected, and Engaged

Supporting Independence at Home

Growing older shouldn’t mean losing connection to your community. For many older adults, giving up driving can create new challenges when it comes to accessing healthcare, groceries, errands, and meaningful social connections. Through Homebound Adult Services, trained volunteers provide personalized assistance that helps older adults maintain their independence, access essential services, and stay connected to their communities. Whether it’s a ride to a medical appointment, a friendly phone call, or help picking up groceries, these small acts of service can make a significant difference in someone’s quality of life.

FAQs

How do I get started with AllThrive365?

Our process begins with having the person who will be receiving the services call us to do an intake over the phone. Some services, such as grocery shopping assistance, will also have a home visit conducted by a staff member prior to matching you with a volunteer.

How long will it take me to match with a volunteer for AllThrive 365’s free-of-charge services?

The length of time it will take to match you with a volunteer for ongoing services like grocery shopping depends on what the supply of volunteers is like in your geographic area. This process may take anywhere from a couple of weeks to a few months. We always do our best to match you with a volunteer as soon as possible.

How do I get matched with a service volunteer?

Please call Homebound Services at (602) 274-5022 ext. 124

I have a medical appointment. How soon can I make a request for your transportation service?

If you are requesting rides to medical appointments, this can begin as soon as your intake is completed – just remember to call us at least four business days prior to your appointment so that we can have time to find a volunteer for you. We will always let you know at least 24 hours in advance if we are unable to find you a ride.
